Mayfair Mail on a laptop screen

What Mayfair Mail does

  • Conversations

Replies are grouped into one stack you can expand and collapse, with a quick reply box underneath.

  • Folders and labels

Inbox, Drafts, Sent, Archive and Bin, plus your own folders and coloured labels, several to a message.

  • Snooze and schedule send

Hide a message until later, or write now and choose when it goes out. A background job sends on time even when nobody has the app open.

  • Undo send

Messages wait a few seconds before they leave, so a mistake can still be pulled back.

  • Filters and blocked senders

Rules run as mail arrives, so receipts, newsletters and noise sort themselves.

  • Search that understands you

Operators such as from:, to:, subject:, label:, has:attachment, is:unread and before: work as you would expect.

  • Signatures and automatic replies

Keep several named signatures and set an out of office reply with a subject and message.

  • Safe to open

HTML mail opens in a locked box with no scripts and remote images hidden until you choose to show them.

Good to know

Plain facts about the limits, so nothing comes as a surprise.

  • Attachments on a sent message can total up to 4 MB.
  • Junk detection looks at basic headers and obvious patterns. It does not learn from what you report.
  • Reading mail in another app over IMAP or POP is not available yet.

Mayfair Mail questions

Can I use my own domain for email?

Today every address is on mayfairmail.com. Connecting a domain of your own is not available yet.

Does it work on a phone?

Yes. The layout changes to one pane at a time on a small screen, and you can swipe to move in and out of messages.

How do I stop someone emailing me?

Block the sender from a message, or create a filter that sends their mail straight to the Bin.
